Application | ||||||
| Coding strips are used for the steering control by transport containers in tape conveyor plants. Each coding strip consists of a fixed label and any number of reflecting variable marks. The targets can be stopped by turning down, dumps or shifting. At the stations of the conveyor belt, at which the container is to stop, are two light barriers. These are mounted in the distance of the fixed and one variable mark. During agreement of target and fixed label of the coding strip with the light barriers of the station, the containers will be removed. | ![]() | |||||

flap strips | ||||||
| With the multi-coding flap strip reflector flaps secondary or one above the other are arranged. The flaps carry the target number on a side and on the other side the reflectors. The reflectors can be switched on and off by turning down. A resting holds the flaps in the desired position. This strip is caracterized by a simple setting of the desired targets. A multiplicity of mounting elements facilitates the mounting at most different containers. |

| In order to enable as much as possible
targets with a strip to trigger be able also an automatic actuating of the coding
cams, this tilting strip wasdevelloped. | | |||||
| Sliding
strips | ||||||
| In conveyor plants, with which only are to be started a low amount of stations, a coding sliding strip is often used. The container must again be coded for each target which can be started. Since these strips are provided with large reflectors, they are suitable also for lower exact path guides and rough environments. |
