The direction-controlled counting light barrier serves for counting persons or items in a direction. In the housing 2 light barriers and a 2-digit LCD counter with reset over a key switch are integrated.
In counting direction the 1. Light barrier (readiness light barrier) makes the counter ready for counting during interruption. The 2. Light barrier (counting light barrier) emits the counting pulse during interruption to the counter. The counting light barrier operates dynamically, i.e. it emits a short pulse with the interruption process only.
The readiness light barrier operates statically. Their output is active for the duration of the interruption.
