AKAS® SBH – Folding machine protection
On-the-fly safety solution for operator safety on folding machines
Fiessler Elektronik safety solutions for press brakes consist of an optical safety system and a safety controller. The components are CE type-tested, UL listed and comply with other national and international standards.
A three-dimensional laser protective field between the AKAS ® transmitter and AKAS ® receiver monitors the danger zone below the clamped upper tool. The special beam arrangement ensures protection right up to the danger zone.
Depending on the machine performance ("braking distance of the press brake"), the press can be operated at high speed until shortly before the upper tool hits the sheet metal to be bent.
The result: maximum safety with maximum productivity.
The AKAS ® press brake safety system is available in different versions and can therefore be optimally adapted to the respective situation.
Safe area: safety zone (intervention in this area leads to the closing movement of the press being switched off)
