Safety solution for operator safety on folding machines
Fiessler Elektronik safety solutions for folding machines consist of an optical safety system and a safety controller. The components are CE type-tested, UL listed and comply with other national and international standards.
A three-dimensional laser protective field between the AKAS® SBM transmitter and AKAS® SBM receiver monitors the clamping area between the upper and lower beam. The special type of beam arrangement ensures protection right up to the point of danger.
This eliminates the otherwise necessary intermediate stop at 15 mm.
The result: maximum safety with maximum productivity.
The AKAS® SBM safety solution also offers permanent redundant safety monitoring of all safety-relevant functions of a folding machine.
Flexible mounting.
The AKAS® SBM transmitter and receiver can be individually attached directly to the machine body using the flexible T-slot mounting on 3 sides.
Floor mounting is easily possible using the height-adjustable mounting column (SAU_AKAS_SBM).
