The MLVT light curtain system from Fiessler Elektronik is a measuring light curtain for precise industrial measurement and control tasks. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver strip that generate a finely resolved measuring field. Within this field, the system not only detects whether an object is present, but also measures its position, size and shape - ideal for applications in object measurement, quality control or process monitoring. How MLVT works
A large number of light beams at a distance of 7.5mm or 14mm are controlled by a single-chip microcontroller. All eyes are scanned one after the other. This allows the status of all eyes to be determined. This data can be further processed as required via a serial interface.
