FMSC-STM - Safety contact mat - Evatuation Device

Application

With the electronic switchgear FMSC-STM, safety contact mats and emergency stop switches can be retrofitted to an existing system without having to significantly change the existing safety circuit. A dead man's switch can also be installed to bridge a contact mat.

 

Scope of functions

- Connection of:

  • 2 safety contact mat circuits
  • 1 dead man's switch
  • Emergency-stop switches
  • 1 acknowledgement button

- Optionally with or without restart interlock

- Integration in existing safety circuit by means of relays or directly via electronic outputs

FMSC-FP - Safety foot pedal - Evaluation device

Application

With help of the electronic switching device FMSC-E-FP a second foot pedal can be integrated into an existing machine in a fast and cost-effective way without modifying the significant existing safety circuits. The outputs of the device will be integrated into the existing foot pedal circuits

 

Scope of operation

 - Selection of foot pedal working mode

  • only foot pedal 1
  • only foot pedal 2
  • foot pedal 1 OR foot pedal 2
  • foot pedal 1 AND foot pedal 2

 - Connection of foot pedal 1 and foot pedal 2
 - Retrofit of foot pedal emergency stop circuit

 - Integration into existing safety circuits with help of monitored conductor or directly with semiconductor outputs

FMSC-ESM - Safe Standstill - Evaluation device

Application

With the FMSC-ESM electronic Switching device, an axis can be safely monitored for standstill.

Linear or rotary encoders can be used as sensors. Contactor monitoring and restart interlock are configurable, which allows the device to be extremely flexibly. It can be connected directly to frequency inverters or via contactors. An emergency stop Circuit can also be connected to the device.

Scope of Operation

 - Connection of:

  • 2 Standard TTL encoders (linear or incremental)
  • Emergency-stop Circuit
  • 1 acknowledgement button
  • Brake for stopping in the event of a fault

 - Optionally with or without restart interlock

 - Optionally with or without contactor monitoring

 - Integration in safety Circuit by means of relays or directly via electronic Outputs

 - Diagnostic output for

  • relay monitoring error
  • Encoder Deviations

FMSC-THC - two-hand-control - Evaluation device

Application

With the FMSC-THC electronic switching device, two connected push buttons are monitored.
A two-hand control type III C according to EN 574 can be connected to the device.

Each push button consists of a NC and a NO contact. At the inputs a discrepancy time monitoring of the NO and NC contacts of the individual contacts as well as between the buttons.

The dual- channel emergency stop and the relay/contactor control can be deselected. This allows a flexible use of the device.

Scope of operation

- Connection of:

  • 2 push buttons each with one NC an one NO contact
  • restart push butto

- Optionally with or without emergency stop

- Optionally with or without contactor monitoring

- Integration in safety circuit by means of relays or directly via electronic outputs

- Diagnostic output for

  • relay monitoring error
  • two-hand discrepancy error or position errors of the EDM
